Fire Closes Abercrombie & Fitch’s Flagship Store

Abercrombie & Fitch’s flagship store was forced  to temporarily close after a two-alarm fire Friday night damaged the building. The blaze, which began about 11 p.m. was extinguished shortly after midnight. Fire department spokesman Frank Dwyer said the fire was on the fifth floor of the building and there was one minor injury. A representative for the store at 720 Fifth Avenue said he didn’t know when the store would reopen
