Former U.S. president Donald Trump has talked for nearly ten years about appearing before for a large crowd at Madison Square Garden. He has attended sporting events and concerts throughout the years and always dreamed about himself someday being on stage and performing before upwards of twenty thousand fans.
To start the closeout of the 2024 election campaign, Donald Trump got his wish and gathered all of his main supporters and followers to make their way into the world’s most famous arena.
APB News was just outside the Garden to talk with some those from the Pro Trump movement asking what message they would like to hear from the former president.
There were a few anti Trumpers in the crowd making their point as to why the former forty fifth president should not become the forty seventh leader of the free world.
Trump used the iconic venue to deliver his closing argument against Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris as the days dwindle down toward the November 5th general election. While Trump has insisted New York state is in play this year, recent polls have him trailing Harris by nearly 20 points as the Empire State has not gone for a Republican presidential candidate since Ronald Reagan in 1984.
