The 2024 UNICEF Gala was UNICEF USA’s national celebration of the bold efforts that UNICEF makes for children around the world. This year’s event kicked-off the holiday season and shined a light on UNICEF’s work to ensure every child is healthy, educated, respected and protected.
The evening was a celebration of UNICEF’s work, as well as a tribute to the outstanding humanitarians who make this work possible. UNICEF serves more than 190 countries and territories around the world and has helped save the lives of more children than any other humanitarian organization.
The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) pursues a more equitable world for every child. UNICEF has helped save more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization, by providing health care and immunizations, safe water and sanitation, nutrition, education, emergency relief and more.
APB News was on the blue carpet that night to talk with UNICEF USA leadership and ambassadors about how they advance the global mission of UNICEF by rallying the American public to support the world’s most vulnerable children. The mission is to head towards a world that upholds the rights of all children and helps every child thrive.
