During Monday night’s 112th Annual New York Young Republican gala in New York City, a scary moment took place on stage.
Alex Bruesewitz, one of president Donald Trump’s social media strategists, sparked concern after he collapsed on stage mid-speech. The audience gasped and cried out as he toppled over, bringing a lectern down with him, landing onto the guests table in front of the stage.
APB News was on site and captured the moments before when Bruesewitz began to slur his speech and admitted he was “forgetting” his words. His eyes glazed over as he fell silent for a few seconds and he appeared to be unsteady on his feet.
The 27-year-old, who worked on the Trump 2024 campaign with the mission to make Trump look cool with younger voters, had been introducing a gala award when he fainted.
Bruesewitz was traced backstage by medics – This is a developing story.
President Trump was watching the program on the livestream and then called in to wish Alex well.
The gala honored Senior Advisor to President Donald J. Trump, Corey Lewandowski!, the leader of the UK Brexit movement, Nigel Farage MP and Dan Scavino who is returning to the White House as assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff.
