George Santos is reportedly under federal investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission for potential insider trading on the predictions market site Kalshi.

Here is what happened – On February 23, Santos posted a video on his X account claiming, “I’m going to be there for the State of the Union in the gallery, guys,” referencing President Trump’s State of the Union address scheduled for the next day.

While publicly hyping that he would attend, Kalshi’s internal monitoring systems detected that an account that was tied to Santos was wagering against his own attendance

George never showed up in DC.
