Officials say LoBaido suffered cardiac arrest Tuesday evening during the NYPD’s National Night Out event at Midland Beach.
Witnesses say the incident happened after LoBaido attempted to confront New York City Mayor Mamdani during a speech.
First responders rushed to the scene, performing immediate CPR and using a defibrillator to revive him.
Police and EMS rushed the artist to a local hospital. Friends share online that he is awake, smiling, and recovering now.
