APB was in a quite subdued and empty Times Square today watching the final preps on the 12-foot Waterford Crystal and LED Ball that will count down the end to a nightmare of a year. The two stages were being completed that will host livestreams and live TV programs but no revelers and people in attendance other than the lucky 40 COVID-19 front liners that won a lottery to be on hand.
We asked the New Yorkers that stopped by Times Square today what they wished for in the new year.
