By Tuesday in New York City, when the snow finally stopped, the blizzard dumped as much as 24 inches of snow in neighborhoods with more than 30 inches on central Long island.
Police officers responded to a large group of teens who gathered for an unplanned snow ball fight – which then escalated into several officers being struck by snow balls and some running up to the officers with a handful of snow and showing onto the officers face.
APB News sifted through many social media videos and always saw the officers maintaining their composure pushing their way through to safe zones.
NYPD detectives who are working this investigation said there will be arrests this week.
