Thirty-five old Laurence Renard, who lived at 1760 First Avenue in Manhattan was crossing first Avenue at about 5:43 PM when she was struck by a huge dump truck.
The truck was driven by 23 year-old Diego Tapia of Newark, New Jersey. Tapia was arrested charged with driving with a suspended license. Other charges may be pending.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s office is investigating.
