NYPD Makes More Arrests at Columbia University on Friday

Last week, pro-Palestinian demonstrators occupied a building on Columbia’s campus demanding that the university end all financial ties with Israel, the New York Police Department moved in and arrested more than 100 people.
NYC Mayor Eric Adams and other city leaders have accused them as outside agitators – many call professional organizers with no ties to the university.
On Friday, APB news team was at Columbia University which allowed faculty access to their offices and other spaces on campus – relaxing campus restrictions that have been in place because of days of intense protests and arrests.
Access to the Morningside campus is limited to Columbia University faculty, students who live on campus and employees who provide essential services, according to the university’s website.
Also on Friday, The New York Police Department cleared encampments at New York University and the New School on Friday morning and took more than 50 pro-Palestinian demonstrators into custody.
