June 2013 – New York City: The New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF) and Jackie Chan events take place throughout June and July in New York City, and Jackie Chan was on hand to receive his Lifetime Achievement Award.
North America’s leading festival of popular Asian cinema, the 13th New York Asian Film Festival comprises three events: the Jackie Chan Lifetime Achievement Award Tribute, featuring appearances by Jackie Chan; the Jackie Chan Retrospective, offering screenings of classic Jackie Chan films; and the New York Asian Film Festival, featuring a selection of over 60 Asian films, including notable recent releases, retrospective screenings and regional and world premieres.
