FDNY Responds to Smoke at Uniqlo on Fifth Avenue

The FDNY responded to Uniqlo on Fifth Avenue at West 53rd Street when the store saw white smoke coming from the air conditioning ducts.
Investigators quickly determined it was freon from the cooling system allowing the building technicians to discover and repair the problem.
The store reported no damage and the FDNY said there were no injuries as the store was evacuated for precaution.
