NYPD Continue Manhunt for Man Who Stabbed Two Staffers at MoMA

The Museum of Modern Art remained closed today as the NYC Police Department continued their search for 60 year old Gary Cabana who violently stabbed two employees at the museum on Saturday afternoon after he was denied entry, his membership suspended for previous behavior issues.

Both front desk staffers suffered stab wounds to their backs and collarbones, and are now undergoing treatment at Bellevue Hospital. and they are expected to make a recovery.

NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Intelligence and Counterterrorism John Miller, said the attack took place at about 4:15 PM on Saturday, March 12 inside the lobby at 11 West 53rd St.

The suspect attempted to see a film at MoMA, but was denied entry at the front desk. The museum is scheduled to reopen on Tuesday.
