More than 2500 fans attended the free outdoor concert sponsored by Pepsi in the city park with Tego Calderon as the main stage performer. With heavy police presence, the unidentified man became angry near the tents where free cans of soda were given out and police officers nearby intervened.
The man was handcuffed and arrested and taken to the 33rd Precinct for questioning.
No other arrests were made. The final concert of the series is Saturday, August 13 at the band shell in Central Park.
